Our Core Programs

Our mindfulness centre is an inclusive and welcoming space that offers the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) program, the Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) program, and the Mindful Self Compassion program (MSC), all evidence-based programs created by Jon Kabat-Zinn at the University of Massachusetts Medical School.

Mindful Self-Compassion Program (MSC)

  • The SC-MSC program draws on mindfulness skills and focuses on developing the resource of self-compassion to enhance our capacity for emotional resilience and well-being. The program includes short talks, experiential exercises, group discussions, and informal home practice.

Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR)

  • Through intentional training in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction strategies, participants will learn to mobilize their own inner resources to activate learning, growth and healing while increasing emotional regulation and enhancing self-care and interpersonal relationships.

Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT)

  • MBCT strategies can be used to identify the triggers and symptoms of anxiety and depression, participants can effectively address these issues as they arise in everyday life, allowing for skillful intervention before mood symptoms and negative thought patterns become more severe.

Mindful Meditation Drop In Sessions

  • Join our Mindfulness Drop-In Classes for a journey into the present moment through practical lessons, guided meditations, and enriching discussions. Whether new to mindfulness or deepening your practice, you'll discover techniques to cultivate awareness, presence, and inner peace.

    Our sessions include relaxing meditations focused on breath and body awareness, fostering calm and clarity. After each session, engage in discussions to reflect and connect with fellow participants. Find balance, stress relief, and tranquility in our welcoming community.

Jishudō – the Way of Self Mastery

  • Jishudo practice enhances one's understanding of body-mind balance and what disrupts it. It also cultivates and strengthens one’s ability to maintain, retain, and regain this balance. Through deep embodiment of body-mind principles, Jishudo improves the foundation for being more present, mindful, and engaged in all aspects of daily life.

1 Day Intensive Mindfulness Workshop

  • Join us for an interactive one-day workshop to deepen your understanding of mindfulness and its practical applications. Over five hours, we will combine theoretical insights with hands-on practice, empowering you to integrate mindfulness into your daily life while effectively managing stress and enhancing your overall well-being.

Navigating Anxiety: Essential Mindfulness Tools for Greater Ease

  • "Navigating Anxiety: Essential Mindfulness Tools for Ease" is designed to help you manage and unwind anxiety through evidence-based mindfulness practices. This course includes experiential conceptual and inquiry components for a deep understanding and integration into daily life. The weekly home practice commitment is approximately 30 minutes a day.
